A friend and I went out to an old drag strip and ran our cars. We used the G-Tech Pro to mesure the 1/4 mile time and the HP. I Have to say it's crap. The G-Tech Pro said that I had 90hp and a 1/4 mile time of 17.1 at 85mph. We each ran 10 times and avreaged the times and HP out. Ok, the 1/4 mile time I can't argue with. The HP though. I had my car Dyno tested the next day. The Dyno reads 107hp at the wheels. That's a big difference. My friends MR-2 results came out close. G-Tech Pro HP: 208 and the Dyno was 211hp at the wheels. I guess the only thing left is to run my car at the strip and see what my time is on a real drag strip.

Perhaps the details you gave the G-tech were a bit off? (car weight, etc)

The car stock is around 2690lbs. I weigh 280 and my friend is about 160. We put in 3200lbs just to be safe. If you put in too much weight and run it gives you a higher HP than if you go under on the weight. So, we shot for a little over. I'm sure my car is less than that weight wise. I have little interior(no carpet, back seat, or inside pannels in the rear part of the hatch) and I removed the A/C parts. I removed as much plastic from under the car as posible too.

Does your performance shop have corner scales? Figure out exactly how much your car weighs with you and your friend and you'll probably get better numbers. Since it is reporting low power your estimated weight is probably too high.

i think the numbers seem very reasonable, our cars dont have that much horsepower, so 90-107 seems decent to me.

the new gtech pro comp. has more accelerameters and they are tuned better and are more accurate.
