Yes it's possible to swap it in a carbed car (some people have done similar swaps in different cars)

There are 2 options

1- Keep the carb
2- convert to EFI

The B16A could be run on carbs, it would involve alot of work and guess things but it can be done.

Converting your car to EFI will roughly cost you 800 to 1000 bucks if you get it done in a shop. I personally did my EFI swap and the parts were real cheap (I got a parts car). If you go that route, do the labor yourself.

so lets say I wanted a shop to do an EFI conversion for me....would it be just as easy as walking in there and saying "hey can you make my car fuel Injected?" I wouldnt think it would be that simple.......but it would be awesome if I could!

its not as easy as spreading butter on a warm toast. But its not rocket science either. A weekend is all u need for the conversion with parts at hand.

go here http://89accord.netfirms.com/eficonversion.htm and u will know how its done.

the engine wiring harnesses are wrong allong with the cabin/dash harness

do u wanna adapt the ecu adapter along with the heater, radio, and all other dash wiring harness to adapt to your B16? or would u rather just put adapters on the ends of the engine bay harness of ur 3g to match with the rest of the car? so that if ur pulling ur engine out of the 3g and wanna put into another one, alll u gotta pull out is the engine (ur B16) and the engine bayharness, if not u will have to pull out the dash and get that wiring harnness and aeverything under the carpet and in the fenders.

To minimize the headache, placeracing came up with idea.
