I'm putting in new pipes for my exhaust, is there anything I can do to them to prevent rust?

Thanks

not really, if you can afford it i recommend stainless.

but i believe they've been egineered to be replaced ;)

hmm now that i think of it, would it be possible to cermaic coat them? like u'd do for headers or something?

You'd do that and the inside would rust, your luck.

the insides would still rust from condensation after sitting a bit. the only way to prevent rust is to get stainless steel

when they ceramic coat headers they do it to the inside and out, so it would work, but it would be a lot cheaper to get stainless.

also, dont make many short trips, it helps cut down on the condensation and when you drive for an extended time
