how do u know how tight to do bolts when installing springs/struts?

If I knew where I put my haynes manuel for the car I'd do a post for all the bolts and the torque amounts. But it is a good resource for you to get for yourself, only about $12 U.S.

you don't want them on there to the point where you woul strip them while trying to remove them, but you also dont want them going anywhere either. Tighten them nice and snug, and then a little bit extra of a turn, and you'll be okay.

ok thx guys, ill give it a shot! im a bit worried bout installing springs and struts myself but cant afford to get it done.

Get a torque wrench or rent one.
If I remembered correctly, strut to knuckle bolts/nuts 40lbs-ft, strut mounting nuts 27lbs-ft, strut nut 20lbs-ft. Doesn't need to be exact or anything.
