When I finished my car to efi and tranny swap I needed new tires. The old tired Kelly Fierce UHP tires had 40,000 miles on them and we're worn down to the steel belts. I didn't want to buy expensive tires to find out that I screwed up the tranny and then would have expensive tires sitting around getting old.

I purchased these Nankang NS-20 tires 205/45R16 tires from Amazon ~$50 each prime. Currently have about 2 years and 10,000 miles on them. I do like them I think they are great for our cars for those who do not track their cars. They don't perform as well in cornering as my old expensive Kelly tires but they are completely fine in all areas. I have taken some very fast turns with acceleration and braking and I never had a thought that these tires aren't enough. They balance good and smooth as butter at my top speed of 100mph. They also perform well in wet weather.

Overall, they aren't going to match the performance of a $150 tire but they also don't do bad in any category. I totally recommend buying these tires.

I will be using these tires in the winter and will give a review of them then. They are all-season sport tires.

There is a newer model of these tires NS-25 that is starting to replace the NS-20 stock.

Follow up on the first snow of the season. Rain turned to ice then 3 inches of snow. Roads were bad for everyone but i had trouble getting going and any sort of braking locked up my front tires which stalled the engine. I immediately drove the van with regular all season tires and its was ok driving in the same conditions where as these tires was unacceptable.

These tires are no good in the snow. It probably doesnt help that they are wide for the cars weight but I cannot drive through the winter with these. I'll be getting some snow tires.

I'll still maintain that these are good affordable summer tires.
