First 3G Accord

Hi all,

I just picked up an Australian delivered '88 Sedan for a reasonably good price. It's got all the options - power everything, sunroof, cruise control, etc.

It runs, but needed a few things fixed up. So far I've done:


Alternator
Speedometer cable
Re-soldered main relay (intermittent start problem)


And I've got a water pump with a bad bearing I'm going to replace.

Is there any other problem areas I should watch out for with these cars?

Check out the ball joints on the upper control arms, front and rear. They can separate and do a lot of damage. Replace them to be safe. Otherwise, enjoy your car!
