On page 21-6 lower left diagram. There is a hex bolt that turns and will essentially shorten or lengthen the push rod connects from the door handle to the lock assembly. This is NOT the rod that connects the lock cylinder to the lock assmebly. I'm talking about the nut being referrenced by the arrow on the right side of the diagram.

Last time when I fixed my handle and put things back together, the length was approximate. I'm trying to adjust it but the FSM does not have instructions on how to.

I'm having some lock problems lately. The lock will shut and door doesn't close or lock will open but when I close the door, it doesn't latch close. I finally found out the door handle has to be pulled open to flip the latch. But I think I'm out of alignment\adjustment with that push rod so I'm getting the latch out of position easily.

Any ideas how to adjust that ?

Not sure about adjustment, but could it be that the latch is just worn out and doesn't catch on properly anymore [emoji780] Keep us posted.
