It sounds like a motorcycle, patpatpatpatpat. Its really geting me mad. You smell gas heavily in the mornings. I guess need to adjust something thats causing it to flood. Can somebody help. if you wouldn't be too lazy to read the how to :D

you gonna have to remove carburator anyway to get to mixture screw, so why don't you just rebuild the carb.
you can get a kit from autozone or anyother car parts store.

shakes, well my carb just did that yesterday.
i think it is something to do with carburator internals. i am just gonna drop another carb.

How much does it cost for a carb repair kit? Where is the best place to get the best quality?

Theres a cap on the screw? Is that what you were saying Mike? hmm, i waslooking at my carb lastnight and used a mirror, so i could see everything under it, There was a silver thingset back into the carb where the screw should have went. Is the carb hard to rebuild?

Even for a moron like me who doesn't know shit about carbs? Is it something I should get myself into?

well, here is my rule. if you like cars and like messing with unknow stuff, than go for it. if you one of those people thatr just drive cars, just go the autoparts store and order rebuild carb.

I like to mess with stuff on my car, but my dad says it is a bitch to rebuild the carb. So I was just wondering what you all thought. I bought a carb off an 88 LX for my 86 DX and I don't think it is going to work, so I need to rebuild.
