ok,
i was just wodering, who made stock brake pads for our cars when they rolled off a factory assembly line?
the reason i am asking is because i am looking at new brake pads and this is the place i am gonna buy them but i cann't make my mind which ones.

have you guys heard of ACT ceramic pads? how are they?
what about Nissin or Nippon?
how about Advantex?

Nissin is Hondas OEM brake manufacturer. I've got them on mine and they work very well

Akebono (sp?) also made pads for our cars, or at least Honda's in general. Not sure who makes which brake pad for our cars.

Nissin did the 88-89 LXi and SEi front. The other company did the DX and LX (I think). I'm not too sure about the 86-87 LXi though.

86-87 lxi is Akebono, same as any dx or lx
