I have a 1988 Honda Accord LX for sale, located in Pomona California. Car has approximately 185,000 miles on the odometer. In my opinion, the interior is very clean, and the exterior is for the most part in great shape, but has some faded paint. This was an extra car, until my brother needed a car, then I let him drive it for a year. He had issues with it overheating. He took it to a mechanic who told him the motor is bad and it's not worth fixing. Being an awesome brother, he parked the car at my moms house and bought himself a new (used) car. I couldn't get a more detailed answer from with on what's wrong with it. I tried smogging this year it and it failed bad, and it started leaking coolant at the end of the test. I'm looking at swapping another motor on it, but realistically I don't have the time, space or money to fix it (i have a 2 year old and my company is downsizing). I'm very close to dropping it off at the junkyard, but hate to do that to a very complete and nice car (other than the motor).
I have this car listed at an unrealistic $900.00, but I'm ready to give the car away for cheap, I just want it to go to a good home instead of a scrapyard. If anyone is seriously interested, make me an offer on the offerup app for a quick response.
