Primary needle leak replacement

There is a fuel leak coming from the main needle, can it be replaced by removing the top hat or does this require taking the carb appart?

I am going to take the top hat off and do a quick inspection.

Update: Ok, so the top hat come off, the Trick will be to remove the pin the float pivots on.
