i just got my car and whatnot, and i've always liked imports, so naturally i figured i'd check out what i can do to juice this bitch up!my car is a 88 accord lx-i 4-door, with a automatic transmission. it's got 145,539.7 miles on it. i figure it's still got a lot of kick left in it,(it's never been run hard or anything) and it's reliable enough for me to put money into it. i really could use any advice you guys could give me, thanks.

i would suggets some dc headers 4-2-1 design complemented by a 2.25" catback with a muffler of ur choice, hi-flow cat and no resonator, a nice 92-95 civic cai intake, port and polish head, short shifter and act stage 2 clutch if urs is a manual, get a reground camshaft with colt cams (wild), and u probably want some 17" rims (i like konig) with like a 2-2.5" drop or so, also plz use teh search button to find out what u can do

if you can find a car with a 5 speed and major rot or a accedent then what ever tha car costs... and its advised that u get a new clutch... just a a stock one is good... an that is like 100 bucks... i would get a parts car and the clutch.... that will run from like 200 for the whole thing to more if you cant find a real junker

i wouldn't recommend the Wild cam grind from Colt cams if your car is still going to be a daily driver. Go with the mild tri-flow grind if your going to be serious about the cams. If you were to go with a 2-2.5" drop, i would go with a 16" rim, IMO. If he were to port and polish the head, might as well do it to the intake manifold as well. Looks like a cavern in there anyways.
