No conversion kit I know need anything special in them. I dont know the matrix one, but the most important is that the front is glass, not hard plastic.

those are 60 bucks a pair!

find some on ebay... make shur they are glass...

and any H4 kit will be much better than your stock sealed beams

this is what i have http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2406100803&category=6777
this is my third set. two sets before sucked big time. one was leaking and the other had screwed up hi-low beams.
the last one i got work great. they don't leak hi-low beam work great. one thing about this set is that light bulbs suck. you can get better light bulbs.

HID h4's put out a lot better beam than the stock beams that came on our cars. H4's in general are just better, in looks, power, and light intensity. they run on less power as well and last longer. if i could afford them, i would get some.

i have them and it does make the car look better when the "eyes" are up. as far as making a big difference in visibility, i haven't noticed any.

Not huge difference distance wise, but if you like the white/blue light then it is a plus. I hated the yellow stockies. The brights are DEFINETLY brighter than stock, damn.

Because with the plastic lens with time it starts to fade and turn yellow, but with the glass lens you dont have to worry about that happening, Dont really think theres a difference in light output between the 2....

Better light output is going to depend on the bulb you use.
