One of my projects this summer is getting my AC running again. I did a new compressor about 3 years ago but it lost freon about a year and half later and wont hold more than a week now.

I have original hoses with the low side r12 fitting. I always used a home made adapter hose to fill and left the R12 fitting on the low side stock.

I want to get new hoses but I want to make sure they have the correct r-134a fill fittings. Im guessing ill have them custom made.

Yea either custom make one or maybe a hose for a newer Honda is similar enough to work.

A quick Google for custom ac hose comes up with several companies that make them

Is there a reason you don't use an adapter fitting? (Aside from the fact that they leak a lot.)

When I first did it in the 90,'s leaks was one thing and the other was my buddies only had r12 gauges. Figure I'll jump into the 2020 and get correct hoses and maybe even guages....although we got it all at work.
