Well I finally went today and got my windows tinted :). Not only does it make it look MUCH much better, but with the summer heat coming I'm sure it will keep it a lil cooler inside. I didn't get it done super dark because I wanted to stay legal, but I did get the darkest legal, so I got 30% on the 4 side windows and 20% on the rear. It's actually just the front sides that can only be 30%, but I didn't want the front and rear sides to be different from each other so I got all 4 done 30%.

As you can see, from the inside it's not very dark at all, which is good for me because I'm blind as a bat, and I can still see out at night. I'm happy with it :)

nice... really sets the car off.. now you need to get some NIGHT SHADES and do the tails and the front lights

Heheh....no fart cannons for me! :D I do have an SE-i badge sitting in my room though, so I could put that on there to misbadge my car :lol Or not....

Anyways, I paid $137 for it. Not all too bad I don't think, and they had it done in about an hour and a half. The lady at the tint place commented on how fun it was to tint the rear window on our 3geez, lol. From what I could tell they got it on there good though, but she said to wait a week or so for everything to dry and settle, then look it over for any flaws. We'll see how it turns out in a week....can't find any flaws yet though.

I always thought it need tints, cuz black Accords look meaner with black tints.

30%?!?!? You're a baddass now!LOL Your going to cry for darker tints in the summer in Florida. I'm just messing with ya. I shouldnt say anything, you got your A/C running again for the summer.

30% is all you can do in this state. any darker and you won't pass inspection. i have 30% on my black 94 accord coupe. looks a little too light but what am i going to do. that coupled with the passenger window not having it because it got broken in an accident. oops

that car would look pretty nice with a little bondo and a coat of 299 maaco paint. that spray paint all over the front and back doesn't really go with the tint.

Yea I know the paint sux and there's still rustholes, but it's still a work in progress. One step at a time, ya know?

Nice job dude. It really look nice as hell. A black car without tinted windows, looks naked to my opinion. I have 15% all around and I have problems parallel parking. Who cares, it looks danm good :D Cops don't like it thought :(

Yeah dude, I got a ticket at school. The freaking cop followed me all the way into the lot. I never changed the tint though :D

I have 20% tint on my Cougar... well, that's what the reciept says anyways. It's really 15% but that's not much a difference..

that blows, i paid 125 for my tint, wich is about 5% and very illegial. Just the back, and the side, not the front. But it was origionally $165 i just had a deal with the owner of the shop.

man here where i live, if you dont have tint then you suck. but i guess thats the way it is in the south.

I got my all my windows done at 22% for %170...I had to talk down the guys at the shop, but it looks good and I like it. It's dark enough to not be able to see in very well, but you can see out pretty good most of the time. The legal limit here is 35%, but that was just too weak...and I'm not really supposed to have the front windows tinted at all...:D Oh well, haven't gotten a ticket for it yet...been pulled over a lot with it on there! :lol IMO, having different %'s on the front windows compared to the back is kinda tacky, but some cars can pull it off.

yep, i didnt tint my front window, because it looks tinted from the outside anywyas if all ur others are. Mine is Limo tint, very illegial, and u cant see in at all, but u can see out as if it were clear. It is weird. But i muist say, at night its sometimes tough pulling out of my garage (sorry bout the spelling job)
