Alright, I was at a buddies of mine near Chicago, and I found a PA speaker in his house

Its one of those semi-big ones.. Has 2 wires coming off of it...

Does anyone know how I can wire it up? I was thinking about somehow putting it in my car (not mounted) just to mess around with.....

I get really, really bored.

It's not made for a car specifically

Its an indoor/outdoor type :)

Some cb radios have a pa out, makes it nice since it takes care of the mic and amp already for you. A long time ago when I was young and delinquent a friend of mine managed to "acquire" a rather large out door pa speaker. We put it under the hood of his chevy 1500 p/u and hooked it up to a cheap walmart cb. It made for hours of amusement and pissed plenty of people off.

Well...

I also have another PA speaker i got.. but this bitch wont fit under a hood.. hell it's about 4.5' tall

BIG ass one.. I have it on my stereo in my room and face it out my window if we have something going on outside

...or the hollywood sound effects cd of sirens, guns, helicopters works too

Naturally, since the frequency response is in the voice range, typically 1000-8000 Hz. It is not designed for music.

most pa speakers suck, i mean if youre looking for bass then you wont find it there. Also power handling is crazy low... alot of pa speakers only handle like 15w or so and the suspension (spider and surround) are much much stiffer than the stuff used for car audio...
