Recently got a roadworthy report back saying that my rear upper ball joints are bad, my lower ball joints are gone, and my front right upper ball joint is also gone.
So I've gone searching parts websites for the ball joints, finding front lower ball joints was easy enough.

However in the absence of rear ball joints I can only find rear upper control arms, and for the front upper ball joints once again I'm only offered the front upper control arm.

Do you need to purchase the whole control arm to replace these ball joints or am I just not looking in the right spot?

Also might be a dumb question, but there aren't any rear lower ball joints are there? I haven't had a proper look under the car yet but from looking around I don't think they are a thing.

RockAuto (http://www.rockauto.com) has all that for you too look up. There pictures of each part.

The front UCA, upper control arms and usually sold all in one. Might confuse you. The Rear upper control arm as well stock are all one unit.

I have a set of front and rears where the ball joint only is replaceable. its what I prefer but not a must have.
