I originally made a post about the Bosch 124 ignitor, but after a lot of research and looking at configurations of the 2 I decided the 4 wire HEI was the better option and I figured out how it is wired up.

Not only will the HEI ignitor never cease to exist, replacement units are reliable and very easy to find. The HEI is a very common aftermarket solution also. This also opens up the ability to use ignition controller ecus with a 7 or 8 pin HEI module to control dwell and advance timing electronically, but we won't get into that because most controllers would support a distributorless system.

This is the diagram of how the ignitor is setup:

Performance modules on Summit (https://www.summitracing.com/search?N=part-type%3Aignition-modules&keyword=hei%20module)
Plugs (https://www.amazon.com/Distributor-Pigtail-Tachometer-Connector-Compatible/dp/B08Z3P47TK/ref=sr_1_3)
As of writing this post this has not been tested, but there is no reason it should not work.
