hello, i have a 86 dx with the A20A1 in it, and im looking to go the itb route, now my question's are,
1.) what set of carbs have other people ran? and what route did you take?
2.) what size jetting should i start with once installed?
3.) any tips/ tricks? mistakes that other people have made that i can avoid?

the reason i want to go this route is because its getting harder to find a weber and im not really wanting something with a electric choke, and my current stock carbs have a vacuum leak on one of the seals. plus i love the look and sound of itbs

Hello and welcome to the forums.

There been some posts on 4 carb setups on and off. Searching thru the carb section should get you going.

It will be quite a project, but those will work, you will just need to rejet them, not hard there, just a trial and error tune basically.
I am not familiar with the carbs that come on that bike, but 99% of 4cyl bike carbs from the past 20 years are just fine, as long as they have plenty of adjustment. The best carb you can find would be a keihin fcr slide carb though, that's what you will see on a lot of ae86 4ag cars in japan
