For those guys (or gals) in Connecticut, how much did you pay for your custom cat-backs? I want 2.25" piping from the resonator back and a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler, and I just wanted to see what every one else has paid. I got a rough quote of about $220-250 from Fat-Go in Manchester, but that seemed a little high to me. What did you guys pay, and where did you go? Thanks!

I went to Fast and Go in Manchester too, but I only paid $100 for the 2.25" cat back piping. I provided my own muffler. This was in the summer of '01 and I got a discount because they knew my father. Compare to fall of '02 when I went to just get my stock coupe muffler welded onto my hatch. they charged me $75 b/c now my father is gone. So if you get it for 220-250 then I think that is pretty good. Try talking them down to 200. Have you thought about a Hi-Flow cat?

I went to the same place as Steve and paid about $135 with the muffler i supplied them. They are really good but make sure to specify you want it from the cat back and what size piping 2.25 or 2.5. There are also two locations and i believe the one you want to go to is on West Middle turnpike in manchester. The other is up the road at the corner of main street and west middle turnpike.

I think the price they gave me was with a muffler from them. Do you think it would be cheaper if I bought the muffler from Summit Racing and brought it to them?

I thought about the hi-flow cat, but I just want to focus on the cat-back. I'm already cringing at the thought of spending $200.

It might be cheaper to buy the muffler muffler somewhere else, but it would probably be easier to just buy everything from them. I wouldnt cringe at spending the money. Think of it as doing things the right way and not the half ass way.

Thanks for the help guys. Time to say "Bye-bye" to another $200 I shouldn't be spending!

hmmm.... I guess now I'll have to go to the same place too. ...lol... I dunno, I do need to get a new 2.25" bent for the hatch though.
