Hi, im new here, i have a 1987 Accord Ex A20A2.

I am fixing up the car, replacing every bad part, and removing rust.

But im having some trouble finding exact oem part and replacement part.

I need rear swaybar links arms, mine is very rusted, so I might need to weld one lookalike or is there a replacement i can use ?

And On the rear struts there is a Coil spring insulator, with oem part number: Honda 52686-SE0-003
Can I use KYB-SM5525?

Im sorry i cant figure out how to post image.

I used adjustable integra rear sway bar endlinks. And do you really need the "Coil spring insulator" as long as its there the worst it can do is make a little bit of noise, I wouldn't hang up your project over it.

No i dont actually need one, but I found several on ebay and other places.
And i found the replacement part to the swaybar endlinks.
But maybe i should go for the integra you mentioned.

As i Said, i need a new insulator, my car needs it to pass control check.

Im fixing up and removing every rusty parts.
Most of it i can save. But some parts i must buy.

You can't pass an inspection without it? Seriously, I don't think you will find it. The closest you might find is one for a civic/integra/crx (common platform from 88-02), I have crx front springs, so it should fit somewhat

No I cant, in norway the rules are very strict.

Cant retrofit from the civic part either? A lot of parts like this are non existent nowadays, even in the USA. Japan would be the next best place to look, but that's easier said than done.

Did you try that KYB-SM5525 you asked about?

No I cant, in norway the rules are very strict.
Christ, western Europe is a nanny state hellhole. Why should an almost 40 year old car that is solidly in enthusiast territory be subject to such an anal, stringent inspection?

Well, Europe isn't nearly as car centric, and that's fantastic, but it shouldn't get in the way of people who are just into cars as a hobby. There is a way around this, surely, because old hobbyist cars still get restored and put back on the road even when not a single part has been manufactured in 40 years. In this case though, I'm at a loss. It's not a popular enough car to even find coilovers for, and it's too different to retrofit from a similar model. Idk about Norway, but I doubt you could even run ksport coilovers in Germany due to TUV.

Im still waiting for that part.
Yes norway is very anal about car control.
I found some parts im gonna try to retrofit

Did you ever find a good interchange/retrofit part for that spring insulator? I broke mine today.
