try and bypass the sensor on the radiator... make sure your radiator has fluid also. Anyways there are 2 wires coming off the thermal switch on the radiator... just cut the wires or use a jumper and connect the two wires together.

just replace the sensor on the bottom of the radiator.

before you replace anything do what A20A1 suggested. unplug the fans and use a jump wire and hook directly to the battery. if the fans don't work your fans are bad

Trace the wires coming off the fan motors.

Botttom of the radiator. Just unplug it and jump it. If your fans work, then change the switch. If the fans don't work, then you need a new one.

have you checked your coolant level?... if there is no coolant then the temp guage wil always say it's colder then it actually is.

You seriously will kill your car if you continue to race or drive for that matter with a coolant problem.

the thermostats are cheap and fairly easy to replace... buy the gasket that goes with the thermostat as well.
