i know that the 3gees have owesome suspension and handling.. you can't feel the speed in those cars but i have a boubt about my speed gauge

i have an LX 89 5 speed and it seems to boring to drive at 60km/h i'm in 3rd doing 2000 rpm

i want you guys to tell me what is yout gear RPM and speed when you are doing

50km/h
60km/h
70km/h
and 100km/h

that would help me a bit

does the condition of the clutch have anything to do with this ?

my father was the previous owner and he changed the clutch
50 000 km ago but he drives good and the clutch is in very good condition
it's very high ..the pedal and very easy to use i mean you muct be a real dumbass to stall the engine

thank you
thank you

What size tires do you have on the car? Different tire sizes will give you different speedomoter readings @ rpm. No the clutch will not change the speed of the car.

why are you complaining about that? it's better for you car to cruise at a lower RPM than for the engine to be racing all the time. is having the needle on the tach at a different place going to make the car more fun to drive? it sounds like your car is fine. if the clutch were slipping you'd be doing like 5000@60kph instead of 2000@60kph. it seems that it's in exellent shape.

i'm complaining because i have a hardtime respecting the speed limits it's just too boring cruising at 60 which is already 10km more than the speed limit
i always have to take my foot off the gas then gas again ..:D
if i keep my foot on it just 5mm it will gain speed

the handling is great i cant feel the speed and is just to boring
and i just wanted to make sure if it's showing the speed properly

my fathers 93 accord can do 60km/h at 2000 rpm in 4th:huh:

i cant do that i run at 70km/h at 2000rpm in 4th

and his car at 100km/h feels more like 130km/h in my 89

btw i'm driving it properly i dont rev the engine more than 3000-3500rpm at the most (i go up to 3500 only when i get on the freeway)

ALSO i have the right tire and rim size on then I know that not respecting that will give you wrong readings

so you're just saying your car is boring? take it to race track. roads are made for driving on, not to be fun. it sounds like you just want to change gears more. it might be more fun but it's not as good for the car.
