Ok I am sick of looking at my Sprint Springs sitting on the ground in my garage. I work for Napa Auto Parts and I get parts at Cost +10% so ususally around 55% off. We carry Regal Ride Struts and Napa Sensa Trac struts. I could get all 4 of the Regal Ride struts for about $60 or so and the Sensa Track for about $80. Jim, I dont know what to do. I want to put the springs on sooo bad and I dont have the money for the Koni's I wanted. My Sprints arent that stiff do you think I would be decreasing my ride quality more then the stock setup? I could just buy these struts and slap them on there untill I get the money for the Konis and if they blow then I'll just put my stock stuff back on... what do you think? Im going to do the lude upper arm conv. as well.

You need motivation:huh: ,...........no you need money :D:lol
So you can get those monroe's for $60 eh, hmmmm. Well that is dirt cheap. They are going to be like installing new stock struts, so thier not going to fix the lowered ride right at all. But if your current struts aren't so good, they would make things better than riding on weak stockies, while you wait for the $$ for koni's. Now keep in mind I've seen members blow those monroe's on H&R springs, which are softer than those sprints. So you wouldn't want to be on the monroe's forever. Thing is, how long have you had the sprint's? I'd hate to see you get the monroe's and just say screw it to the koni's, that's all.

Ya I definitly need some $$$ right now... :D
I have had those sprints in the garage for about 6 months if you can believe it... I never got the spare cash up to get some konis. I was hoping the OE Replacements would hold up for at least 3 months... do you think they could make it? I can live with bad suspension for a little while if it means that I get to finally slam my baby but Im thinking that after 2 or 3 weeks I wont be able to take the bouncing... I am going to slowly save for the Konis so after 3 months or so I will definitly buy them... How bad do you think the ride will be on OEM struts?

Well how bad it will be on stock struts will kinda depend on how much you drive your car and how well maintained your roads are. If all you drive down are new fresh roads you'll do just fine. Now where I live, only a fraction of the roads I drive are close to being fresh if ya know what I mean. Mike (89accord.com), he had sprints and stock struts, I always to the impression that the bounce didn't get to him much. But he did do a post declairing he was going to install koni's. But I think his selling the car now killed that plan.

Install it already. That would make you buy the konis sooner. :D
