I agree....it's a real pain to have to go in there and edit pics to fit in here, 100k would be a lot better....hell, even 75k

a 640 x 480 pic is about 38K in JPG format. What are y'all doin' to have such big pics??? GIF or BMP are larger?

300-500K??!?? What are you doing it in, 42 bit color???

If you do a JPG right, you drop the quality a notch, do it in thousands of colors and not millons.

If you want to do ultra big/high quality, link it only off site; those who want to see it then can.

50k is enough.

please do not abuse the image uploading feature. like ACCORD EX said, theres a chance it will slow down the server like it did with AF. for image hosting, fortunecity is good as well as Hypermart (http://www.hypermart.net) . i personally use hypermart, and you are allowed 500 megs of transfer a month, and they do not block remote linking.

You are just crazy. I have a Sony Mavica FD 87 and every JGP I have ever taken is between 35-38K at 640 x 480. 300-500K is bitmap fa sho. Come on now...
