Pop Revits

Located on the carb are pop rivits....

For the life of me I can't figure out how in THEEEEEE hell to get them off. I order a carb kit, and I have new ones to but on as well.

How do I get these off, and then on again? You think honda could have used screws....

Apparently you have to drill them off. To put on rivets you need one of these http://www.rivetsinstock.com/jcpagex20.htm

You might as well use bolts and nuts from the hardware store of appropriate size if you are in no way shape or form close to a rivet tool.

yeah, you have to drill them out. you can use bolts and nuts (put loctite on them so they dont vibrate loose) to put it back on.
