can i simply unhook my 86 DX gauge pod and swap in a 89 SEi pod? the sei has much lower KM so it would be to my advantage when i sell

Is there any way, if you swapped out the guage cluster, that the next owner could possibly find out how many miles are actually on there?

probly can if it's registered other that that it'd be alot of work if it's possible.

That is a really sweet idea. Is the Se-i cluster different from the normal ones?

If you are just trying to lower the mileage, why not just use another DX cluster? I dunno how it works where you live but the mileage is printed on the titles in PA so if they do it where you are be sure not to use a cluster with a lower mileage than the title :)

Yeah why won't the speedo work from an sei? Just plug your old one in right?

I don't know why the speedo won't work but i put an EFI gauge cluster into my carbed car and it was way off. When i was doing about 100km i had almost already maxed out the speedo. It will move but it wont be accurate at all. Must be a Carb - EFI thing.
