those walmart 6 x 9's sound pretty good i did those with the 6.5 inchers up front. for 13 bucks a pair can't beat it. (no offense to any of you) i didn't want to spend much on my 3 gee. especially when i have my black 5th gen coupe.

thanx, it was my gf's car and it was her idea but I did all the work myself. It was cream before and it was uglier than crap.

exactly. This is my work car, I have a nice system in my 00 civic but I didn't wanna spend too much on this car. Went to wal-mart and bought that jensen amp, not the greatest but it works good and got those 6x9s for $20. They sound great, almost as good as my kickers in my civic.

tell me about it. they don't rattle and sound clear why being able to handle a decent amount of bass. i did all walmart stuff in my 3 gee actually. jensen head unit, road gear 6 x 9's and 6.5inchers with a walmart 250 watt amp and 2 road gear 8 inch subwoofers. actually doesn't sound bad.

Nice car, tasteful mods, yeah im the same way, the accord is the work car, the chevelle the cruiser and racer, im all about keepin in affordable. I bought a $80 Jensen sub box from walmart with two Jensen 10" subs in it that sounds very good for the money and a $50 amp used, and got a $120 bargain basket Pioneer HU, with two jensen 6.5" 2-ways in the front, I had old speakers in the back from the chevelle but one blew and i just have one 6X9 in the back now, ill have to check out some of those red ones from walmart also, for that little I doubt i can go wrong. Do you know what they handle RMS?

Witness to the power or Jensen....The Jensen 300 watt 2 channel amp will Power 3 MTX 12" 4 ohm thunder series subwoofers wired in parrellel motion at 1.5ohm with no problems at all. cheap and powerful!

Damn, I just blew both of the super old 6x9's in the back of my 3g and all of the walmarts around here want around $30 for a pair of those speakers! :wtf:

tight, howd u get the carpet in the back black?, my 3rd brake lamp rattles cuz of my system, so i took that out, bent the metal things back, and put some carpeting over the hole, looks tight

everyone loves wal-mart audio because its so cheap. ive got jensen 6.5s in my doors. i dont really like jensen at all but i needed some cheap ass speakers to go in the front since my stock ones were blown when i bought the car. my subs produce enough bass for the whole neighborhood so i didnt need and mids that could handle bass. i have no bass comeing from my HU so they play the music real good.
