straight backwards, subs facing the rear bumper

all the way up as cclose (angled sub box) to the trunk...

If u have a ported box play around with it more..

I find having the sub up to the rear wall or where it can pound your car

Also I drive with my seat down

1. take 2 15's
2. add watts
3. point in any direction and pound until numb :b

I have two 10's and have a ported box faced to the rear bumper and they work for me. I also drive with the back seat down for better sound and to show off my rear strut bar :D

Yup. It depends how you like how it sounds.

isn't it better to point the subz towards the cabin? at least for non ported enclosures

I had my single 15 box back snug against the seatback and firing toward the trunk lid. I don't really see how it's going to make that big a difference considering how large bass wavelengths are.

Actually, I'm wrong. Damn my memory must be slipping. I was perusing my pictures and saw that I actually had the speakers pointing up, not back heh.

what i have found is that if u place them with the subs facing back at the center of the car it makes the space seem to be bigger than what it actually is and by doing that u get a better sound BTW i have 2 10's in a sealed box

i've found you get the best sound with the seat up, subs facing back. but defintly seat up.

Well, not for me, its definintly with the box pointed backwards, seats down for me but you need to figure out what sounds best for your app, and what your tastes are.
