ok on april 21 i am getting a lump some of money and im going to spend like 3000-4000 on my precious 88 accord and i was wondering where to get a carbon fiber hood. there not on ebay anymore and its like they dissapeered out of thin air. i really want to get a cf hood and some z3 fenders (i heard they were out there) im gonna drop my car like a inch or two and slam some 17's on it. i just cant wait. but yeh where can i get a CF hood

Dude, If you're really getting that much money and are willing to waste it on a 15 year old carbed car you got issues.... I love my 3G and i have spent more than i should have so far, to make it more fun to drive. However if I were you and was getting that much money to waste I would look for an early 90's nissan 240zx or 300zx, an Eclipse gsx turbo or even and older toyota supra or RX-7... It's just my 2 cents...

Its funny how many people on these forums put down their cars and other ones for being an older car. Go ahead and tell all the people that have invested tons of money into their 35 year old mustang and see what kind of response you will get. If he likes his car and wants to know what this is, or how much this will cost even if he has 10 million dollars does not give you the right to say, hey why are you driving around that shitbox?

Great point exactly! I have a 75 chevelle that I have invested SOOO much money into, not because its even worth anything, but just because I like the car. I hate it when people say: "Why would you put so much money into that car?". It's my car and I don't see why people care what I spend my money on. Sure if I would sell it I would lose a few grand but thats what happens with cars, they depreciate in value, but that doesnt mean we have to depreciate in how much we like them.

Ok I asked the dude to put more 89 accord hoods on ebay and he was like you can buy them from me. And it was for like $398 + $129 shipping. I was like I'll wait until you have it on ebay so I can buy it for $269 +$129. Wonder if he thought I was a dumbass.

Hey if you like a car enough go ahead a spend some money on it. I paid $2,500 for my accord with 123,000 miles on it and in perfect shape for the miles it has on it. It could have been sold for +$3,000. My Dad got a 67 Camero SS RS for $5,500 with a pretty new stock 350 in it. He is planning on putting in at least $20,000 into it and I have seen cars where they have spent 20- grand on just the engine. But when I drove that car to school all of sudden eveyone at school suddenly became my bitch. I raced everyone that had the had the balls to try. Usally if they were still somewhat close to me, by the time I hit 3rd and started lighting up the tires they quit. Now make to my little 4 banger which I love so much. I have invested about $1,000 in it for 17" rims and CD player. I got brand new Infinity speakers for free. I probably will put another 6-grand in it mabye more. I would drop in a
B18C :badass: if I could find one for cheap.:D
