hey guys i recently mounted my rear speakers but havnt hooked them up yet, till i get my new cd player.

theyre a 3way 6x9 200watt kenwoods

ive still got the old stock speakers sitting in there to cover up the holes and my new ones are mounted sligtly inwards of the stocko's it looks a bit weird but this is the only place that they could be without cutting some of the steel out. they sit in the to rectangle holes that are under the back shelf.
i was thinken of just making a new shelf so that i could mount them were i want without the stupid stockos still sitting in there.
so i guess my real question is should i leave them the way they are or make a new back shelf and cut out some of the steel from the top of the inside of the boot (trunk for you americans ) ;)

any help whould be great

cheers

in my hatch i want to put rear speakers.. but i don't want to put them on the decklid or whatever. i don't want to cut it (i don't think you should) but i think i may put them in the back seat area, to the left and right (on the sides there is a panel there)

i'm kind of asking the same question i guess?

word.
