after searching for low cost honda rims with no results, i decided to check out BMW 3xx (E30) R15 rims somebody offered - 4pcs for 55$ :) . they're also 4x100, but offset is 15 or sth. at the 1st place i thought they won't fit, but when i tried them with 205/50 tyres....sweet :smokin:
well, the edge of the tyre was a bit out of the mudguard , now i'm wondering if it is a problem, if i put some rubber absorbent (?) between the coils so tyre won't touch
..going to take some pics, they sure look nice :D

I'll be really surprised if they don't rub on the rear fenders, usually RWD rims are less than 40mm offset. When I say a wheel tire combo doesn't rub, I mean it doesn't even rub even if your so low your sitting on the bumpstops. It has to be able to clear anywhere in the full suspension travel to be no rub. I wonder what those rims offset really are.

OUCH! rub rub rub, well how much would a body shop charge to create fender flair's. Oh wait that would kill the whole idea of not spending allot on rims wouldn't it:(

i guess you're right....
after seraching the web a bit, i found out thanx to a pretty useful chart (http://www.hot.ee/spidomeeter/fitment.html) about rim sizes, some others that should fit.

Daewoo: Espero, Nubira, Lanus, Nexia (4x100/offset 38-42/56.5)
Daihatsu: Applause, Charade, Gran Move (4x100/offset 38/56)
Kia: Sephia, Mentor, Concord, Shuma (4x100/35-38/56)
Mitsubishi: Carisma, Colt 92>, Lancer 92> (4x100/35-42/56)
Opel: Astra Mk 3, Calibra, Cavalier, Vectra (4x100/35-42/56.5)
Opel: Astra Mk 2, Corsa, Nova (4x100/42-45/56.5)
Proton: All (4x100/35-42/56)
Rover: 200, 400, 25, 45 (4x100/35-38/56)
Seat: Arosa, Cordoba, Ibiza, Inca, Toleda (4x100/35-38/57)
Skoda: Felicia, Favorit, Forman, Pick-up (4x100/35-38/57)
Volkswagen: Corrado, Golf, Lupo, Jetta, Passat >96, Polo, Vento
(4x100/32-38/57)

ppl here in the forum doesn't reccomend anything with offset under 40. ...so 35/38 is not an option, if i plan to use 205/50/R15 tyres?

Well you can run narrower, undersized 195/50-15 and get away with a 35mm offset. But the point is to not have to comprimise like that cause of running the wrong offset in the first place.

it's a UK car manufacturer (is based on Mitsubishi engines if I remember right), rather known in rallys. like Vauxhall was an UK version of Opel
