Well, I think it's time for a new carb, I'm thinking I want a Weber.

What's the full 'low-down' on the weber carbs? What's the advantage over stock, and how does the gas milage compare? Does the kit include the lower seal that costs around 100 bucks?

Why would I want to get one?

Why wouldn't I want to get one?

Any advice would help in this matter, as for buying the install kit, I'm thinking this website....

Is there a better place to buy one?

www.carbsunlimited.com will beat any price. I only paid a total of $300 for mine. The advantages are faster car more power. I have the 32/36 downdraft.

a. more power. It flows a lot more and the car will pull a lot more in te upper revs. If your currently running your stock carb with no mods you'll notice a more overall power gain.
b. sounds/looks cool as shit!! :)
c. shitty factory unit rebuilds cost MORE

So the 32/36 doesn't let you use cruise control?

Someone on the board said that they found a way to rig the a/c to work. Let me see if i can find the link.

Found it. This is what 'mindlos' posted:

"Im on vacation in Swaziland till the 22nd, but read the other thread again. you dont need to have A/C. You just need the diaphram to raise the rps to normal idle when the compressor is leeching.

Heres the link to the thread.

I still had Cruise and A/C when I had my Weber installed. When I removed all of my vacuum lines I didn't have Cruise control but I still have A/C.

If you go with this conversion kit Redline weber (http://www.carbs.net/Weber/Dataresults3.asp?Kit_Nbr=K728&Model=ACCORD) do you need to also get new jets to make it work right? I would hate to buy the carb kit and then go out and rejet it just so I could drive my car. Reason I ask is I see that A20A1 has rejetted his weber.

I had to rejet my weber.... in fact I'm still rejetting my weber... my weber was bought on-line for $75 bucks and didn't come with the correct jets. I had to build my own conversion kit from scratch.
