All about the GSX!

Some of you might remember that I sold the Talon about a month ago. Well, I got a different DSM from a frined of mine's brother. It's an early 92 Eclipse GSX (early meaning 6 bolt engine/4 bolt rear)

No interior or engine pics yet, but take my word for it: Give me a high flow fuel punp, and some 550's an it'll go 13s. :flip:

looks good. i say keep it looking stock. don't do anything to it that won't make it go faster. i liked the color of the other one better but i like those cars anyway. in that body style that is. keep it up.

and get a picture of that car taking off. i love the way they look off the line.

I agree with you guys on alot of things, at first I liked the Talon better, but the 92-94 body style is growing on me. I still might do a 90-91 headlight swap, because I love me some flip-ups :) . The Talon's stock ground effects didn't do anything for me at first, but after owning this car, it looks higher off the grond than the Talon did :( . The two tone color of the Talon KILLED ME! I hated that black and silver crap. I am much happier with the paint/body of this car. I think the color is really nice, yet different from other everyday blues.

The only cosmetic mods I can see myself doing are a 2/3 inch drop, with some 18's, and maybe some clear corners. Clears corners are still up in the air, I like the srock look it has going on now. I still unsure about the 18's too. I'd really like to get them, just for that little bit of "bling factor", but then again, I'd love some black or bronze 8/9 inch wide 16's. I think that would look great. :tongue:

As for the B16G, I already have a small T28 (think S16G, for 2Gs). The 28 is the 2G's bolt on equivallent of a 16. So basically I have a S16G. Other mods are: Small T28/ Webb Cams/ 2G Ceramic Coated Pistons/ 1G Big Rods/ No Balance Shaft/ Adjustable Wastegate Acctuator/ ARP Head Studs/ ACT 2600/ Short Shifterr w/ Shift Kit/ Greddy Type S BOV/ EVO Manifold/ other stupid stuff....

The car is pushing 20lbs on the stock fuel system and exhaust as of now ( I'm stupid/lazy). So once I get my friends Supra fuel pump/550cc injectors I should be able to pull high 13s if I frop the exhaust. That should be fun...

you should get a big ass front mount too....i love that body style DSM, and i dont think ive ever seen that color around here before(toledo, ohio) there is a shop here called showdown motorsports and they deal alot with dsm's and all the cars theyve built and worked on, ive never seen that color.....good choice

I have alot of shit to do before I start making it faster. It has low compression, needs alot of little things, ect...

I like this body style too, but like I siad, I kinda miss the pop-ups. :( . I've never seen another on this color either :confused: except for on the internet...Like I said, I like this blue alot, but its not a shade you see too often. :D

I have a 3000GT VR4 but I have only mentioned it 2-3 times. Even though the accord is just my beater I come here for 3rd gen info/discussion, not to hear people spout off about how their car is better than anyone else's.

hey man sorry. i don't mean to brag im just real proud of it you know. i put a lot of money and time into it and it's what i drive. i don't even drive the 3 gee. buy i still love the car for some reason (not saying all 3 geez are pieces of shit. just mine) it was actually free. i got it for doing some work to my cousins car. ill try and stop the "bragging". i do post a lot about the 3 gee though.

whatever man. im not asking you to believe me. id show you a recieipt but i bought it from someone down the street. he said it was jdm and he bought it from some website with like 40k on it. i believed him not even sure it he was telling the truth. he was going to put in his crx but someone side swiped it and he didn't want to fix it. it actually took 4 people to drop it in and then we had it towed to some shop in west springfield to have it wired up. my grandfather knew the owner so we took it there. i don't think we saved any money though. i actually still have my stock f22b2 runs perfect.

how do i have 200hp? well the h22 is like 190 or something stock and i have a cat back exaust and c/a intake. i rounded up. ill get you some pics if i ever get my hands on a digital cam. i haven't even used one before so you guys might need to give me some help.

yeah. those cars are nice. i know a few people with them. this one guy has one. i looks kinda messy cuz the fenders are different colors, but that turbo makes it all up. and my friend that has another one needs his intake and exhuast manni's replaced. his dad was drivin it and blew them out!

Keep in mind that I own an Accord, and I love it, they look great, but thats about all. It will never be fast. I'm not going to spend money on an engine swap when I have a fast car.

my accord just sits so well lowered and looks good from all angles. the lines (in my opinion) are superb. when you look at it on an angle from the front it looks sweet. im more into looks and comfort than speed since im in no way a racer so i went for the accord.
