Frount end swap

Hey guys my Bro has a 89 LXi and was wondering how hard it would be to up date the frount end with a 90-91 frount clip any information would be helpful :confused:

not a clue, but if I remember correctly, there is a kid in MA that Neuspeed87lx spotted and said that he'd done exactly that. PM Neuspeed for any more details. That's all I remember.

A round front and a squarey body wouldn't look right. Plus, why lose the retracting headlights? Our cars are special cuz they're the only Accords with retracting headlights.

don't lose the lights man. that is the main reason I bought the car! way cool. that is basically the only diff. between the 3g and 4g besides motor diff. and stuff.

the ride on a 4 g is so much nicer though. i test drove one before i bought my 5th gen. (the 5th gen rides better than a 3 gee but is stiffer than the 91)

:wave: I am the one who posted that using my bro's Name (87AccordDx) The reason behind it is I bought a 89 and the frount end is recked I have to buy the dog house any way so I was thinkin could be interesting but I am gonna leave it sounds too complicated to do:rolleyes:

Don't give up. You could try it and let everyone else here know how it went. But if you ain't got the dough to let go, then I suggest you just repair the front with a 3G front and not a 4G front.
