Mike, don't remind me of this one. :tongue:. Mantis, I think you are better off leaving it in the car. That is if you are trying to cut down on weight (judging by some of your previous posts). It is almost guarantied that getting it out is a PITA and should be done only if needed.

Sweet Avatar dude. And I'm assuming he wants to remove it for weight reduction. If you want to take that out then you better take the dash off then too. It is going to be a PITA to remove it.

It wont make much difference, I had all my tools in my trunk when I ran at tracks; a full sized spare, 12 quarts worth of oil and a gallon of coolant/water. I couldn't take it out cause there was no one to watch it for me.

Weight reduction is ghey, unless you're running a unibody fiberglass shell encasing a 2000hp motor, then I could see why. Besides stripping the trunk, and getting rid of the emissions on the carb'd motors, screw everything else.
