87 lxi engine into an 86 carburated ?'s

my buddy and i just put the engine from an 87 LXi into an 86 that was carburated. we have the engine and the wiring harness in but we cant figure out the wiring under the dash..can anyone help??? thanks!

are you saying that u did a efi swap? using a 87 motor into a carbed 86 car? yo seriously that 87 efi motor got no power my friend and also, its a 8.8:1 compression block and the 86 carb block has 9.1:1 compression. You just reversed the whole thing. If the carb block is fine, i would say just swap the efi crap if you guys did that.

If the 86 carb is a LX dont worry about the dash wiring, its the same exact one as the LX-i. but if its a DX like carotman's, u need to swap the whole damn dash wiring harness.
