wut looks best

I have an 89 accord hatchback. I was wondering what sizes rims and how low of a drop would look the best on my car. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know. Thanks

isn't that all up to you? personally i like 15" wheels with a modest drop of about 2", but most people like bigger and lower. i do have a soft spot for lower actually. but seriously, it's all up to you. it's your car.

Here's a picture of my hatchback. I had 15's on a 1.5" drop. I feel that the 2" drop looks the best, but I did not want to comprimise my ability to make the car perform, handling wise, so I stuck with the 1.5" drop. 15", 16" or 17" will depend on what you like and how much your into "go" or "show". I've seen hatches with all 3 size's and they all looked really good.

I'd go 17's with a 2" drop. Perfect setting.........

16 x 7.5's with +35 offset with 205/40/16's and a 3 1/2 inch drop is the perfect setting for looks. After all that is what you were asking about.

I beg to differ Pearl... I'd do 17 with 3 1/2 inch drop.

You can't pull off such a deep wheel with the 17 and that is what makes it look best in my opinion. The 16 will sit completely flush with the edge of the body like that and as soon as you hit a bump, the lower overall height of the wheel allows it to tuck up in the wheelwells without having any rubbing problems at all and still allows full turns in the front. I just didn't like the way the 17s fit my car, for some reason that extra 1/2 inch closer to the ground made all the difference to me.
I am a sucker for tucking wheels but for the overall look of a car I think that 16s fit best on 3rd gens (but the car has to be low to make up for it). If it is only a two inch drop or less than 17s look way better.

I loved the look of my hatch with my 2.75-3" drop on 15's with 205/50/15 rubber.

I'll post pics of the hatch on the 17's as soon as I put it back down on the ground. (she's running stock height again)
