Hey my friend bought a panasonic CQ-DF602U cd player but he broke the faceplate. is there a place online that sells faceplates without having to buy a whole new cd player???

p.s. here is a link to the CD player for the curious people around here:

nope ive never heard of a place that does. Thats the point of the removable faceplate. I mean, if you could rip off a unit, its pointless unless you have the faceplate, that renders the unit virtually worthless in theory. If they could buy the faceplate for a few bux... why not rip anything off? These days theyll rip off anything with or without a faceplate but the point is they are very hard to come by, forget finding places that sell it, your best bet is to find it on ebay or fix the broken faceplate.

there is a distributer that sells faceplates and everything needed to build the head unit back from scratch... i dunno what it is.. im at school.. but when i get home i might be able to get the address up.. but its usually more for a new face plate than it is to get another deck

u can try to buy one from the manufacturer. but even if they do sell them, they would charge such a high price that it would be more worth it to get a whole new HU.
