Ok I finally got my Hatch going.
Here are my remaining problems.
My cruise does not work at about 55 MPH or higher. It used to work all the time. If it's on and I accelerate past about 55 it shuts off. What could it be???
My tach reads about 1000 to 1500 more than the engine is actually rotating at. When I am on the freeway at 70 the tach reads 6000, when I know it can't be more than 4000.
If any one can help, I would appreciate it.

6000 in 70 !??? are you sure you shifted ! ? :D ! what about teh engine sound ! does it sound like 6000 rpm ? if it does so it's propably your clutch is beginning to slip !
if not check the coil !

about AC that's something about low and high pressure where the compressor should cut off after he reached a certain pressure !
i would highly recommend downloading the AC section ( service manual ) it's in the faqs !

good luck !

Well my tach would do some crazy shit like that, then the motor blew up. Now that i have installed a new engine, the tach stays where it should be.

I'll check the coil and vacuum lines, 'cause it sounds like 3500 on the freeway in fifth gear. My clutch is fairly new, so that's not it. Any other ideas that I can try?
