What oil additive products have all you 3 geez addicts tried? Has anyone had some really positive results? One more thing. Has anyone tried a synthetic oil? I hear that royal purple is suppose to be really good.

I'm not too keen on additives... the oil you use should be good enough as is.

Mobil 1 Super Syn
Valvoline High mileage
I think Mobil 1 has a high milage oil too.

Ditto, Mobil1 is the best consumer oil (synthetic or not) out there. We've have a few companies come to our school selling their products (ex BG Products) and when they've tested out various oils, and then added their own additives to them, Mobil1 always scored the highest BEFORE the additives. Castrol, stay away from. It was the lowest ranked oil as far as life goes, on all of the tests. Quaker State was the third lowest. And believe it or not, the Wal-Mart Super Tech was #2 highest, I dont know how they did it. Blah blah, I'm rambling on...

Point is, Mobil1. Royal Purple is the shit too, but I dont see why you'd run it, seeing as how you dont have a high-performance motor, I cant justify why you'd use that oil. Mobil1 and Valvoline Max Life (what I use) are the best out there. Stick with the tried and true.

Hmmm....DITTO!
BTW .... when I first got my car at least 2 of my fuel injectors visibly leaked, all 4 intake runners were stained w/gas. 6 months later.... no signs of leaking!!! Really.. no shit! Lucas=good shit as far as I'm concerned! just my 2¢

I always use valvoline full synthetic... also, I have used prolong a couple times and the car seems to run smoother with it...

I don't trust mobil1 personally... and if anybody uses pennzoil, they need to be beaten...

I also use valvoline synthetic in my tranny.

Why 5W20? Isn't that a bit thin, expecially for an older worn engine?
