i've changed from 1st to 4th on my sisters car (much tighter h than a honda) but never in the reverse order.

Damn that sucks Metro but it happens i have done that before but didnt break anything. Did you fix the car since that happened? I like your car it looks sweet with the CA front end which i normally do not like but it looks good on your car.

Man, my old engine looks similar to that too, with some bent valves as well.

I'm putting in another engine now... There are two bent valves and one broken in the old one, and the big hole in the piston...

nice... what did it rev to before it blew up? I was powershifting this integra once and went from 1st to second at redline then 2nd to third at redline... or so i thought, it went back into first and revd way past 9 grand... (like 9700 or somthing like that) and i couldnt believe it didnt blow... it only had like a 6500rpm redline...

It would only blow if you really push it. Redlining it a couple times will only end up with the engine stalling or so. Plus, it's a Teg and so I'm assuming it must be a B18 or some sort that you were tangling with.

Ouch! That sucks worse then bad. That's like GREAT, only just the opposite.

Wow, I really hope that never happens to me. 'Specially once I get the engine built, i don't want to detonate it like that and have to start all over again. Shit! I just can't get over that one. Look at that fugghin piston. O. And those valves... damn man!

I had that happen to my 1979 BMW 320 in germany on the autobahn at over 100 mph, mine didn't punch a hole in the piston. On AA side note ti did ruin the block, when I tried to torque the head it pulled the threads out of the block at about 45 lbs. Tried to helicoil the block but it was just too stressed and wouldnt hold torque on the headbolts.
