hello everybody !
i noticed the through the past 3 week that my power band is changing ( i mean the kick that you can feel at 3000 rpm )
anyway sometime it at 3000 , a week ago it was @ 2500 today it got to 2200 rpm !
i check my distributer marks ( i mafe )and they are properly aligned and didn't change a bit !
i checked my both venturi's and they are both tight ! ?
so what else is controlling this kick in @ 3000 rpm !

my car is stock , 6 months old wires , new NGK plugs , 1000 km oil and oil filter , 15000km fuel filter , carb cleaned very well !! ??

any ideas ?

What's so bad with that lol. Maybe your car is reaching the point to where it's getting as fast as a muscle car, and your peak power will be made at 2500 rpm's, and redlines at 5000. Hey, it could happen...

I really have no idea. Never heard of that before...sorry.

Do you still have a vacuum secondary? If you do then I would say its vacuum related. I'm not sure whether its determined by venturi vacuum or manifold vacuum.

Stop training it.
The more you train it, the better it performs :D

I'm stumped right now because it would be normal for a problem to cause the secondary not to open or open very late if there is a leak to the diagphram. From the look of some diagrams it driven by venturi vacuum and seems unlikekly that would cause it to open early.

See if and when the secondary opens when just reving it and not moving. Also try when the car is not running which should not open it. That may indicated if the diagphram is stuck open. So maybe that kick is actually something else. Do you get another kick higher in the rpms?

U never take it to redline? Lol, wot r u scared of, I assure you that you will be able to handle the massive power spike after 4500 :D! I take it all the way everytime I want to go fast. Stomp that shit! :D

 No offense but the car felt slow to me after riding it hard 3-4 times. But yah it does make u smarter I guess, car's gonna last longer. But there's nothig wrong with the occasional full rev range of fun. :D
