engine trouble

AWWW my engine is gone , its dead, it started nocking to day ........and it cut off ,,,,any ways time for that new civic or eclipse....heheh ,,, anyways how do I get the oil pan off of a 89 lxi , does the front bumper have to come off???

No, but you do have to take out the crossemember, the flywheel/torque converter cover, the bracket that goes from the front of the engine to the side of the tranny (it's silver colored), and the downpipe has to be dropped down. It's kind of a pain in the butt.
