Intakes, Headers & Exhaust..etc.....

OK..so i heard a rumor that a '94 Integra Head will work just fine in my '89 Accord Lxi Engine w/o any mods..if that is so....could i swap out my Weapon R intake w/an AEM CAI for a '90 Accord or '89 Civic Si or even a '90-'94 Integra...do these engines have any similarities where there would be little to no mods required for this...how bout headers & Exhaust...IS IT SAFE and OK to use Engine Mods for those cars for my '89 Lxi is the basic question?..thanx for any replies given ahead of time.....:wtf:

I don't know about the header, but I doubt a '94 Integra header will fit your Accord. As far as the CAI goes, someone here on the board has done it with a 90-93 Integra CAI and so yes, that can be done.

No, you cant swap the head from a 94-01 Integra. They are all DOHC motors, and the LXi is a SOHC. Intakes are a little different. There are very few differences between models of intakes.

So then what models of an AEM CAI can I actually use? I know I can install one for a '90 Integra. Could I use one for a '90 Accord? Also...what brnads/types of Headers Can I use? Ive only seen 'Pacesetter' for '89 Accords so far....could I also use models for '90 Integras etc etc....thx for the replies so far...

Pacesetter and DC sports make heqaders dc only for EFI you cannot use any other kind of car for headers. I don't know about 90 accord but with a 90 teg aem intake it would be the right diameter 2.5
