What the hell is up with this friggin carb:

Rebuilt the damn thing

idles for a while until it gets warmed up

then she coughs and bucks the dies

will not start back up unless i hold the pedal down

check all 40 million vacuum lines

what gives?

Maybe your throttle stop screw is set out too far such that when the fast idle gets unloaded it gets nada. See if turning in some helps, and I dont mean giving it super high idle using the screw just to cover the problem.

Check to see if your choke opens when warm so that the engine isnt getting drowned in gas. Do this first!

accord86,
check the accelerator pump by opening the butterfly (choke plate) and while looking down at the primary barrel blip the throttle and you should see a stream of fuel squirt out of the
pump tube going down the barrel.

also check the spring on the accelerator pump... sometimes the spring gets weak and there is a small delay in the the squirt.

and it could also be the ignition timing. or a vacuum leak.

here is a link for the booster venturi.
