tighting first barrel venturi help

my first barrel venturi is slightly loose, i was wondering how i can tightin it, i dont want to drill any holes or anything, i just need to know how i can tightin it up. i still have my choke on, if i removed it could i gain access to the screw?

Snap off the choke housing after you removed 2 out of the 3 bolts securing the choke to the carb. you'll also have to disconnect the small rod that controls the choke flap, befoer you snap the choke housing off.

try and break the housing by prying aginst the strongest area of the choke housing and just push or pull the screw dirver toward the front or rear of the car. you'll see the choke begin the flex and you'll figuer out if you need to reposition the screwdriver. It will naturally break at the weakest point which just happens to be whre the 3rd screw is. Once broken you can reasemble the choke no problem and it will function normally once you reconnect the rod from the choke plate back up.

U see the little hole the point is pointing to? couldnt i just get a small flat head screw driver and stick it in there to tightin the first barrel venturi?? or is that a screw that holds the choke on? it looks like it leads to the venturi screw tho.

Nah, that's not the one, it's behind choke housing. U either drill the rivets or snap it off as A20A1 mentioned. What will break is a lil carb bracket where the 3rd screw is screwed on.

i think he wants to keep the choke.
so he has to drill out the rivets.

you can keep the choke... you are just snapping it off and screwing it back on... there is notihing difficult about it... as long as you don't mess with anything after you snap off the choke, it will bolt back into place no problem and is able to be held there with just 2 bolts... if you wanted, just buy some glue and glue the part that fractured off.
