Welcome to the board. Swapping engines? As long as it's a 4 cylinder engine then it should go in without too much trouble. Look for oldschoolswap. He has put a B16 in his car before. A 98 Civic Si engine is a B16 as well.

That is an OBD2 engine.. It's a very complex swap wiring wise.. I would stay away from that.. B16a is a simple swap compared to the B16b

Do a JDM H22, 200 hp stock.

I had a guy look into a swap for me- F23 motor with automatic trans., custom turbo set up and new computer. He would do everything for like $4000. Thats from mounts to wiring to tuning and running.

don't tell him that. next he'll be asking about H22s and Kseries swaps. what you really should do is just use the search button.

The Civic has more parts and swap availability.. and if you take a placeracing kit, you'll have as much choice as a civic.

no i would never get a civic. there is a nice 3rd gen civic hatch that lives by me but i dont like civcs. i gotta stay true to the accords.
