This code says coolant temp, has anyone had this code set on there car? I figure that It means that the coolant temp sensor is bad.

Check the socket for the ECT sensor to see if it came off. If not, then get a new sensor.

i'm getting that right now. i've actually been getting it for awhile but i've been to lazy to fix it. but i'm gonna get it fixed next week, i think.

Fixed the problem, It was the sensor, it is the one on the thermostat housing with the yellow and green wires, I acually had one from an 87 motor, so I put that one in along with changing the plug because it was different from the 88 one, the wire to my 88 plug broke anyway, that might have been the problem all along, I dont know if it broke when I unpluged it or not, the wires are all brittle from the heat of the motor.

Could this code make the car missfire and run sluggish sometimes? Between 1k & 2k rpms?

Probably not. It'll run rich if anything else.
