i was at my wrecker today.. searching for 3g parts.. lol.. Florida is great when it comes to 3gs.. i felt like i was at a junkyard ment for 3gs.. nothing but 3gs left and right..
i found the corners .. since i broke 1 of mine . and the other one just looked fugly
anyhow..
well they brought in this 88 integra...
i popped the hood..
looks good
only has if i remember correctly somewhere between 130k-140 i dont remember if it was 30 or 40
anyhow..
i took out my battery..
to see if it even started
it started fine.
idle good
didnt over heat
AC EVEN FRIGGIN WORKS..
anyhow..
can i swap this motor into my 3g .. 86hb lxi?
and if i can.. is it easier or a difficult swap

why would you the teg is like 1.6l and make like 113 or 118 hp if you have a lxi then you have 120hp.

ACTUALLY! lol i have 110hp.. 86 accords have 110.. and 88-89 i believe have 120hp...
so ya
so there would be no point in doing the swap i guess??
no advantages?

if there are a bunch of 3G's in that junkyard by you, try the following:
If you want the 120HP of the 88-89 LX-i's just pick up a dual stage intake and an exhaust manifold from an 88-89 LX-i and swap them you should get the extra 10 ponies from the swap...

At least i think that is all that was different between the 86-87 to 88-89. Someone can correct me if im wrong??
